Our Mission
To serve the extreme need for cat rescue, TNR, veterinary care, rehoming, etc in the Colorado City AZ/Hildale UT/Centennial Park AZ/Cane Beds AZ/Apple Valley UZ collectively called Uzona and the Arizona Strip. Our goal is to expand into the area with volunteers and education and facilities to be able to intake and adopt out needy cat. The need is great!
About Us
We are a newly formed Cat Rescue in 2022. We have been providing care for wayward felines for years and we now ask for your help so that we can do more and carry on. We live in the high desert of northern Arizona near the border with Utah. It's up on the Colorado Plateau at 5,000 ft. It gets very cold in the winter and quite hot in the summer. We plan on building a cattery that will provide warmth and shelter in the winter months.
I personally have adopted cats my entire life. My husband was late coming to love cats but as are most converts he's worse than me now! He is a great Cat Daddy! More about us and our team in the 'Meet Us' tab. (under construction)
We offer assistance for abandoned and stray cats and kittens. The need is great. We offer help to people who take them in.
We find that more people would take in strays if they had a little help. We are so grateful to those that will take a needy kitten or cat off the street, you have big hearts and you can't just look away! But, you need some assistance. That's why we are here!
We go out of our way to get as many of them off the streets as we can and into homes safely, humanely and lovingly.
We have taken in and care for many cats and kittens ourselves, but we've reached our limit. Currently we can not accept any drop-offs, but we will help you rehome.
We are in need of volunteers and supplies to build a cattery and a fence to separate us from the rest of the property (my brother is annoyed with the cat's [poop] and I don't blame him)
With your assistance we can help many more. Every little bit helps.
Donations of money, materials (building supplies, lumber, bedding/straw, pet heating pads, storage bins to make kitty condos) food, volunteers (carpenters, drivers, veterinary services, manning rescue drives, helpers to build kitty condos, etc.) are greatly appreciated.
