About Us
Founded in 2020 and nestled in the heart of San Antonio, Texas, Petri's Place is a compassionate nonprofit dedicated to the rehabilitation, release, and long-term sanctuary of native urban wildlife. Our loving care extends to opossums, skunks, raccoons, bats, squirrels, and cottontails—each treated as part of our extended family.
At Petri's Place, we believe in healing not just our furry friends, but also in enriching our community’s connection to nature. We are committed to spreading knowledge and love for wildlife through engaging education programs tailored for children, teens, and adults alike. Our educational initiatives aim to inspire empathy and foster a deeper understanding of our co-inhabitants.
Our dedication also extends to nurturing the next generation of wildlife rehabilitators. We offer hands-on programs that provide the essential experience needed to navigate the permitting and licensing process, empowering animal enthusiasts to make tangible differences in their communities.

The mission of ReelTime Animal Rescue is to promote animal wellness, provide education, and establish a funding channel for caregivers and organizations on the front lines of animal cruelty, wildlife rehabilitation and placement.
