Meadow Haven Horse Rescue and Sanctuary
Our Mission
Meadow Haven Horse Rescue’s mission is to provide shelter, rehabilitation and a permanent, loving home to unwanted, abused, old or injured horses and donkeys and we are dedicated to this cause. Some horses may be used in our horsemanship program; some become retired companions, trail horses or are retrained for new careers. Horses are never sent to auction or slaughter.
About Us
Meadow Haven Horse Rescue began in 2004. Over the years expansions were made in an effort to make room for the many abused, unwanted, abandoned, and surrendered horses that were in need of a safe haven.
Horses come to the rescue for a variety of reasons, but more recently it has been due to our struggling economy. Many people try unsuccessfully to sell their animals in a depressed market or are forced to surrender their horses because they have lost their jobs and cannot afford the escalating costs of boarding or feed. Others simply abandon them or stop their care and feeding.

The mission of ReelTime Animal Rescue is to promote animal wellness, provide education, and establish a funding channel for caregivers and organizations on the front lines of animal cruelty, wildlife rehabilitation and placement.
