Our Mission
At Hooves of Hope Youth Empowerment & Animal Rescue, we are dedicated to rescuing, rehabilitating, and providing lifelong sanctuary for horses, donkeys, and other animals in need. Rooted in the heart of Belledune, New Brunswick at Broken Saddle Riding, our mission extends beyond rescue — we strive to empower youth and strengthen communities through hands-on programs that foster compassion, confidence, and connection. In collaboration with Mind at Peace Health, we offer equine-assisted learning and psychotherapy that nurture emotional healing, resilience, and mental well-being. Together, we believe in the power of broken animals healing broken people.
Our vision is to create a sanctuary where animals and people heal side by side — a place of peace, purpose, and possibility. Through animal rescue, youth empowerment, and therapeutic experiences, we envision a community where every individual discovers their inner strength, every rescued animal finds safety and love, and together they inspire hope for a more compassionate world.
We aspire to grow into a national model of holistic healing and education, offering retreats, equine-assisted programs, and wellness outreach that connect hearts, restore balance, and build brighter futures.

Our Efforts as an Organization
At Hooves of Hope Youth Empowerment & Animal Rescue Inc., we are equally dedicated to rescuing and rehabilitating animals and empowering people. Our mission bridges the connection between human and animal healing — “Broken animals healing broken people.”
We rescue and provide lifelong care for horses, donkeys, and other animals in need, giving them a second chance at life and purpose through our programs. At the same time, we offer Equine-Assisted Learning (EAL), Equine First Aid, farm visits, youth and adult day camps, and “lunch and learn” workshops that build confidence, empathy, and mental wellness.
In partnership with Mind at Peace Centre Mieux-Être, co-owned by Marie-Pierre Godin, MSW, we also provide Equine Psychotherapy, offering trauma-informed support to veterans, Indigenous clients, adolescents, and adults.
Through The Hope Barn Project, we are creating a year-round facility for animal rescue, therapy, and education — with a future vision of overnight wellness retreats that continue fostering connection, compassion, and healing for both animals and people.

The mission of ReelTime Animal Rescue is to promote animal wellness, provide education, and establish a funding channel for caregivers and organizations on the front lines of animal cruelty, wildlife rehabilitation and placement.
