Our Mission
Animal-Angels Foundation keeps families and their pets together by changing the reasons pets end up in shelters. We are a prevention-first nonprofit that works upstream, solving the problems that put pets at risk so surrender never becomes the only option. Most pet surrender begins before the shelter, and families are usually out of options, not out of love. We do not compete with shelters and rescues. We connect and strengthen them by reducing preventable intake before it ever starts.
About Us
Animal-Angels Foundation is a prevention-first animal welfare nonprofit serving seven counties in Central Alabama: Jefferson, Shelby, Blount, St. Clair, Walker, Bibb, and Chilton. We are not a rescue. We are prevention infrastructure, built to solve the problems that push pets toward shelters in the first place: the cost of spay/neuter and veterinary care, housing barriers, and the crisis moment when a family runs out of options. Our programs include SNIP for free spay/neuter, the Bridge for crisis stabilization and family retention, Foster-to-Train, Adoption Boost, Sniff and Greet, and the Pet Help Desk, a triage line families can call before they ever reach the point of surrender. We also build the Animal Welfare Resource Network, shared infrastructure that connects shelters, rescues, veterinary clinics, and community partners into one prevention network. Founded by a disabled veteran, we believe support should begin before separation. We keep families together.
The mission of ReelTime Animal Rescue is to promote animal wellness, provide education, and establish a funding channel for caregivers and organizations on the front lines of animal cruelty, wildlife rehabilitation and placement.
