Have A Heart Rescue was started in memory of our son JD who was taken too soon from this world. JD believed everyone and everything should feel safe and loved. This is the goal of HAHR. We take animals who have been neglected and abused, we help them heal physically, mentally, and emotionally, and then we help them find their forever homes. Because everyone and everything should have a home where they are loved and safe.

We pull from the shelters to keep animals from being put down. We also help with stray dogs and owners who can’t not afford vetting. We also do trap neuter and release as well.
