About Us
Mustangs MEND is dedicated to rescuing, rehabilitating, and rehoming horses in need. Our mission extends beyond simply providing a safe haven for these majestic animals; we aim to restore their health and spirit, giving them a second chance at life. Through our rescue efforts, we address urgent situations where horses are neglected, abandoned, or at risk of slaughter.
Once under our care, each horse receives comprehensive veterinary attention, nutritional support, and personalized training. We focus on rebuilding trust and confidence in horses that have often experienced trauma and neglect. Our team of dedicated staff and volunteers works tirelessly to ensure that each horse is treated with compassion and respect.
In addition to direct rescue operations, Mustangs MEND engages with the community through our Pony Playdates and Agricultural Education programs. These initiatives are designed to foster a connection between people and horses, promoting awareness about the importance of animal welfare. Our educational programs teach the next generation about responsible horse ownership and the broader significance of agricultural sustainability.
